Les membres du Comité Consultatif Indépendant sont partis en croisade en vue de l’élaboration de la nouvelle constitution. À cet effet, cette structure mise en place par le Palais national a rencontré des acteurs institutionnels. Dans un communiqué de presse daté de ce mardi 24 novembre, les membres du Comité ont annoncé l’avancement des travaux.
Des discussions avec les membres du Conseil Électoral Provisoire (CEP) et l’Office National d’Identification (ONI) ont eu lieu le vendredi 19 novembre dernier. Avec le Directeur général de l’ONI et les membres du CEP, le comité veut mettre en place une meilleure coordination pour ce qui a trait au vote référendaire auquel sera soumis le projet final de la nouvelle Constitution après les consultations, la participation et l’appréciation des
différents secteurs de la vie nationale.
Ce processus, explique le Comité dans le communiqué de presse, permettra aux citoyens en âge de voter de participer au vote référendaire. Aussi, le CCI a invité le DG de l’ONI à activer les agents de cette institution pour que chacun puisse avoir sa carte d’identification unique à temps.
Quant aux membres du CEP, leur rôle est également importante vu qu’ils doivent mettre en branle le processus devant aboutir au référendum. Deux étapes importantes dans l’adoption de la nouvelle Constitution envisagée par l’administration de Jovenel Moïse.
